So it gets written down. The scope you sign says what is included, what is not, what the timeline is and what the room will look like at the end of each day. The person who measured your floor is the person you call while the work is happening, and the balance is not due until the job has been walked with you.

Substrate prep, mortar coverage and waterproofing all disappear behind the finish. They are also what decides whether the job lasts. So we document them.

Usually within two business days for anywhere in the Kenner and Metairie area, and often the next day. Estimates are free and we do them on site, because a price given over the phone for flooring or tile is a guess until someone has looked at the substrate.
No. The site visit, the measurements and the written scope with the layout approach are free and yours to keep. If you decide to use another contractor, there is no obligation and no fee.
Kenner is our base, and we work throughout Jefferson Parish and Greater New Orleans: Metairie, Harahan, River Ridge, New Orleans, Elmwood, Westwego, Gretna, Marrero and out to Destrehan. If you are just outside that, call and ask rather than assuming we will not come.
That is usually how it works. A flooring job often ends with a post-construction clean, and a bathroom remodel often includes the driveway getting washed while we have equipment on site. Bundling them into one scope is cheaper than hiring it out separately.
A deposit at scheduling to hold the date and cover materials, and the balance after the walkthrough. Larger projects can be split into progress payments tied to stages. Everything is written into the scope before work starts, with no verbal arrangements.
